As an emerging developer, Bahria Town is committed to develop and deliver academic programs that can develop the strengths and potential of our students. We emphasize the development of the CORE competencies of our students which means their knowledge and skills to succeed in their profession. We help our students to become good thinkers as well as become good leaders.
Our courses are carefully arranged to be attuned to the tertiary education restructuring and reforming agenda. This needs the concerted efforts of every academic member of the school to continue working for academic excellence.

Hello to everyone at Ace International Academy in Islamabad,
I am Dr Chris Rowan, the Principal here and I wish to introduce myself to you and tell you a little about myself and my professional life. I first trained as a teacher in UK back in the 1980s when I gained a bachelor’s degree in Education and have since worked there and around the world. My first overseas posting was in Africa, where I worked for two years. I then worked for four years in Kuwait directly after the first Gulf War. I moved to Sri Lanka to be a PE teacher and then back to Africa to be the head of a PE department in a large international school in Zambia. In the year 2000 I returned to university to get a master’s degree in World Politics and I followed this by earning a PhD degree in International Relations in 2006. I then spent a year to write a book that now sits on the shelves of many university libraries.
In 2010 I made the decision to return to school management and worked for two years as Head of a primary section of a private school in Kuwait after which I became a Principal of a primary and secondary school in Kurdish Iraq. Next I was appointed as CEO and principal of a private school in Egypt followed by working as a Principal of a large school in Nigeria, so I bring a wealth of experience in running schools around the world. In all these places I have worked in partnership with parents to secure the best education possible for the children and I look forward to meeting you all in person as we start school this month. Feel free to come and visit me so we can get to know eachother.
So far at Ace we have made a series of strides forward with continual improvements in many areas. Over the last two years there have been physical changes as well as educational changes, all for the better. We are moving forward on starting a parents group as well to speak directly with school management.
Most parents know who I am but if we have not yet spoken to eachother feel free to come in and say hello.
Message from Head of Primary
ACE International Academy is the most remarkable school I have ever worked in. I love this school, the children and all associated people and feel proud and privileged to work with wonderful children , teachers and supportive families since 2007 June.
I have been a teacher for more than 20 years and the majority of my career was spent in the inner cities of Birmingham and Manchester in the United Kingdom. I have worked in Primary classes in every phase from Foundation stage to KS 2 and over the years have held a variety of responsibilities. It was my dream to work in my own home country, transfer all the skills and methods which I acquired during my service and to apply them in any school in Pakistan. Thank God my dream came true and I stepped on a new path which leads me to join this school as a Vice Principal and Head of Primary Section. This has been the most enjoyable and rewarding move I have ever made. I work with a large team of dedicated and talented staff. They work tirelessly to ensure that we provide the best opportunities and experiences possible so that every child has access to an outstanding education. I believe that every aspect of this Academy is exceptional.
Our curriculum is based on British Cambridge curriculum and to implement the curriculum we have got innovative approaches to organise the way students are taught to compete in the international market of education. Our philosophy is that “Every child is at the centre of our thinking and planning”. We prepare our children to be kind, respectful, confident, and reliable and to be able to differentiate between right and wrong.
Our school is well regarded in the twin city and the ethos of the school including our warmth and friendliness is often commented on by visitors. The relationship between the school and parents is extremely positive. We are always very proud to show parents and visitors around the school. You are always welcome at ACE International.
Message From Head of Secondary/A Levels Section
“Never underestimate the power of love, determination, and creativity. It is what heart-centred leaders are made of.”
This quote of Maria Flynn best describes Mrs. Sikandar, the HEAD; Secondary/A Level Section.
HEAD; Secondary/A Level Section
To me the day is still fresh when I joined ACE as the Head of Secondary/A Level Section five years back; many a group of students have graduated in these past few years; many a milestone have been achieved, and many more we aspire to accomplish.
Since its founding in 2008, ACE International Academy being the flagship school of Bahria Town Pvt. Ltd – in itself synonymous with quality – was envisioned to stand at the forefront of imparting quality education. Over the past years the school has provided the opportunity to the students to pursue their dream of attaining excellence in life; this is particularly true since 2012 where every time without missing, Secondary/A Level Section has successfully managed to win repeated mentions in the Cambridge Outstanding Learners Awards.
It must be shared here what sets this institution apart and has put it in a niche of its own, is the commitment with which our team of teachers take to their heart the responsibility of making a difference, of bringing success and achievements to the students. It is not only their subject-expertise alone, it is this essential factor coupled with their positive attitude that makes it a winning combination. This makes ACE the place to be.
The diversity through the multi-ethnicity both in students and teachers make this institution rich in experiences to benefit from. Today, our graduating students are well-placed in Universities and HEIs of the best repute around the world and locally. In this journey of achievements we honour our faculty, alumni, current students and their parents. Together we will ensure that the school continues to remain a beacon of excellence and aspirations for generations to come.
