ACE International Academy’s Outstanding Students Awarded by World Education Games,
Australia
ACE International Academy’s outstanding students, their parents and ACE staff members gathered to celebrate
true excellence and to honour and recognise students and staff members for outstanding performance in the World Education Games held in
Australia.
All over the world, 5.5 million kids from 200 countries were involved in this global challenge. Such challenges are great opportunity for top students of
Pakistan to see how they measure up against the world’s best students. In Pakistan, our bright stars secured all the TOP positions: Abdul Wasaay 1st in
Science, Ahsan Ausaf Ali Science 1st position, Mahrukh Khalid Spelling 1st position, Grade 1 Spelling 1st position, Grade 6 spelling 1st position.
The event commenced with the reception, followed by awards presentation to the winners in the WEG-2012. Students were recognized for achieving World Top 100
positions across the world in this global challenge. Abdul Wasaay Khurrum secured the 2nd position in the world in Science age group 11-13. Mahrukh Khalid
stood 22nd in Spelling age group 4-7, Ahsan Ausaf attained 33rd position in Science and 75th in Maths age group 14-18. Grade positions were also secured
where grade 1 grabbed 21st position in Spelling and grade 6 students attained the 34th position in Spelling in the whole world.
In recognising that it is not possible for ACE International Academy to stay the course of its vision “Set the horizons higher than the sky and Deeper than
the ocean”, without cooperation and helpful ideas from parents or without exceptional commitment by dedicated educators, both parents and teachers were
celebrated.
As the tradition goes, at ACE it is believed that true excellence must be celebrated with full vigour. It not only encourages the winners to continue to stay
on the path of achievement, but also spurs others to raise their level of achievement. The shining students were conferred with medals and special prizes
sent all the way from Australia for this special occasion.
Dr Robert, on behalf of Dr. Simon, appreciated the wonderful performance put up by the brilliant students in these educational games. Addressing the
audience, he said: “Parents play an important role a continued and successful partnership”. While the students cheered for the WEG coordinator Ms. Isabella,
without whom all this achievement would not have been this delightful.
ACE looks forward to active participation of parents, staff, and students in the challenge of continually raising their performance bar. Well done, ACEians!
Pakistan Maths Challenge
ACE International Academy won the first position of the Pakistan Math Challenge amongst all participating schools Pakistan wide. Grade 6 stood first in
the class-wise challenge followed by Grade 5, also of ACE International.
In the individual challenge Ahsan Ausaf Ali from Grade 11 came 3rd. He was awarded a Gold Medal and an iPod for his outstanding achievements by the
Matheltics commitee Further more in Primary Juwhan Park (Grade 5) came 9th and Inha Park (Grade 4) 10th.
In Secondary Section additional to Ahsan’s 3rd place, there was Aaqib Niaz on 8th position, Ju Yoon 12th, Aliyya Taimoor
13th, Hamza BIlal 17th and Noor Rashid 22nd position. (all Grade 6). They all were awarded official certificates for their
achievements.
